The Stranglers played The Fuzz Club in Athens Greece last night (22/01/2010). Venue was packed to an extreme by, mostly, a young crowd. The band played almost 2 hours, with 3 encores. JJ mentioned the 1985 Rock In Athens concert and the long-gone "Rodon" venue, naming it one of the best venues in the world. The "Hoover" was replaced by 7-year-roadie Ian Barnard, due to health complications. Fun night in cold Athens. 2 days ago the band played a nice show in Patras and today they're on to Thessaloniki for (I think) another sold out show, to conclude the 2010 Greece Tour (update: Thessaloniki show was also sold out).
