The first edition of Plissken festival (Athens, Greece) took place yesteday, in front of too few a crowd. It is dead obvious that the Athenian crowd does not appreciate fresh music, even if it means These New Puritans toping the NME list for best album of 2010. It's a shame, then.
Anyway, lots of shows in an event that lasted too long and should be heavily redesigned for it's next edition, as it is clear that a festival with indie names, happening in Athens, cannot draw crowds during lunchtime and afternoon.
My fav show was of Futurecop!, they were loud and happy and party. Hope to see them very soon.
These New Puritans were loud and almost studio sounding, but the singer could not be heard, which was a downer. Couldn't get a clear photo of famous model/drummer, sorry girls and boys. Chew Lips were good synth-pop.
