Slayer exclusive interview

Slayeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer interview/ they played live at Sonisphere Festival in Athens Greece today, in a rainy/sunny afternoon. They sounded very good. They talk like Beavis and Butthead. What you see is what you get. (photos tomorrow)


How do you feel playing in front of a teen audience?
We were talking about that a couple of days ago. It's strange. It's the same the States, too. It started a couple of years ago.

Why do you think it's happening? It's not like Slayer are on the radio or sth?
Kids today, they don't listen to the radio. We're glad it's happening, but we don't know why it is (happening).

These kids are not searching for new metal bands or genres like metalcore or whatever. They are into Slayer, Metallica, early metal. How come?
I guess it sounds good. And it had a particular sound, you know when sth begins, there sth true about it.

Bullet for My Valentine performed early noon, but they stayed to see all you Big 4 bands perform.
Bullets are nice guys. They were very nice to us.

You're flying with a private jet. Do you have a particular seating plan?
Of course we do. And it's a good one, everyone's happy with it.
