J.Kriste, Master Of Disguise - Girls, Ghosts and Gods

J.Kriste, Master of Disguise is a folk/rock artist from Cyprus. I know this sounds peculiar. But he released a very, very good album last year, titled "Girls, Ghosts and Gods" through Puzzlemusic. I value it as one of the best debut album sby a greek (english singing) artist since the first album of Raining Pleasure, more than a decade ago.
The production is clear and firm, the songs are full of ideas and he actually sounds like he wanted the album to come out exactly as it did, sth I cannot say for many albums I've listened to, greek or not. Violins, cello, kanun, melodica, flute, lute, mandolin, vibraphone are only some of the instruments that have been used. Many famous greek singers/songwriters/musicians (Alkinoos Ioannidis, Dimitris Baslam, Manolis Famellos, etc) have contributed, by playing instruments.

I urge you to listen to the album, which you can
buy from here

He will perform in Thessaloniki (23/2), Patra (25/2) and Athens (26-27/2).
