Elvis Costello - Live At Hollywood High

It is always great to observe an artist at his prime, when he is an eager, young wolf trying to mark his territory in the world's hearts, just before oppressive forces like fame, success, money creep in.

This is the case of the famous "Live At Hollywood High". Elvis Costello was 23 when he played this sold-out show, on June 4th of 1978, at the auditorium of Hollywood High School.
Promoting his just released second album "This Year's Model" (which was the first of Elvis Costello and The Attractions), the show's playlist included 20 songs: 6 from his debut "My Aim Is True", 11 from "This Year's Model" and 3 songs that eventually found their way to his third album "Armed Forces".

Now think about it: these albums are now part of every significant list with the "Best Albums Ever" or "Best Albums of The Century", etc. And you can have these songs, recorded live at the time of their making, in good quality sound, by Elvis Costello as good as he ever was. Enough said, then.
