Very sad news: Vasily Alekseyev, a legend of weightlifting, has passed away at the age of 69, due to heart problems. A true beast, he won 2 gold Olympic medals (1972-1976), remained unbeaten in all World and European Championships during 1970 and 1977 and had more than 80 world records! Greatest weightlifter ever.
