After "Two Dancers", Wild Beasts take one leap further and impress once more. Out this May 9th on Domino, "Smother" is an LP to go searching for. Recorded in Wales with Richard Formby, the sound of "Smother" is dense, atmospheric, stylized, exquisite music. Like all great pieces of music, this album makes time stop and draws you in a state where only sound exists for a space of 10 songs. So good.
