He made the dance album of 2010. He was in Thessaloniki last week and he'll be in Athens tomorrow, for the BeDazzler event @ Philipp Champagne bar. So, as usual, we asked Shit Robot and he answered.
Can you name some tunes or albums that you will take with you from the 00s and why?
It's really lame to just talk about your friends, but for me it would be mostly DFA stuff. the LCDs albums, The Juan Maclean, The Rapture, etc. i mean, that stuff really changed everything, well, for me at least.
How was the show in Thessaloniki last week and what do you expect from the Athenian crowd?
The show was great! It was a nice small venue, which i really enjoy and the people were super nice. the promoter, Vagelis rules, he's awesome. Plus, the weather was great, which was amazing!
I'm pretty excited for Athens, the last time i played there was for the Synch festival last year and that was AMAZING! i really had a great time. So, i'm pretty stoked for this weekend.
What are your plans for 2011?
The plan for this year is The Shit Robot Show, a sort of semi-live thing with visuals. i'll be touring with that for most of the year it looks like.
