The name one CAN Band is a pun on one MAN band, as all the instruments are played by one person: Mickey Pantelous, a greek-danish blues man, has made a pure rock'n'roll album, in the tradition of Captain Beefheart. If you are into this stuff, you won't be dissapointed: it's got the sound, the stories, the screams, everything you expect. Good music.
This album will probably sound even better live, which you judge on your own: Mickey performs live every Thursday at Cafe Alavastron, plus he will playthis December 27-28th @ 6 D.O.G.S., with Biri Biri (more details soon)
