Korn - Korn III - Remember Who You Are

Korn have sold more than 30.000.000 albums worldwide, 18 singles in the charts and 2 Grammies. 9 albums in and 2 initial members remaining, like every successful rock/metal band around picking up their music pieces after all the mainstream push of the 90s and the unlimited world-touring of the 00s, Korn are one typical example of a band trying to Remember Who They Are (xoxo).
The steps are: you hire your first producer (Ross Robinson), do what you did all these years but go simple, writing first the music and then the lyrics (self-indulgent, on purpose), record analog (sort of). All these are reflected in the album. The songs are ok, the sound is ok. It just seams that you have to not know Korn to appreciate the album. If you do, it sounds like repetition.

The album is released this July 9th via Roadrunner
