Lamb of God + Descending @ Fuzz, 2010/06/01

It turned out that Descending (greek band, Massacre Records issued their debut album) would be the opening act of the sold-out event. They appeared on stage at 20:55 and their 35'-40' set was dedicated to Dio and others that died recently. The volume level of vocals wasn't always stable but luckily it slightly affected their performance.
At 22:15, the intro gave the signal and all hell broke loose when Lamb of God stepped out on stage. During the first songs, almost everybody (attendees were mostly teenagers) went completely crazy! The band was in great shape but since Fuzz venue was too damn hot, the loft seemed as a better place to be. By getting there, the temperature was tolerable but stage visibility got a bit worse. Under better conditions, the 80-minute show would have been a greater pleasure. Worth mentioning, Randy Blythe once named greek metal bands Septic Flesh and Rotting Christ.
the setlist (most probably accurate):
1. The Passing / 2. In Your Words / 3. Set to Fail / 4. Walk With Me in Hell / 5. Now You've Got Something to Die for / 6. Ruin / 7. Hourglass / 8. Dead Seeds / 9. Blacken the Cursed Sun / 10. Descending / 11. Contractor / 12. Laid to Rest / 13. Omerta / 14. Vigil / 15. Redneck / 16. Black Label
