Slash - Slash

I didn't like Guns N Roses in my youth. I still don't, apart from that one song on "Spaghetti Incident" and all their music on Terminator. I like Slash because of the hair. He can play the guitar, no doubt about that. But mainly I like the hair: it's there, forevermore.

Slash has a debut solo album coming out, called "Slash". Forget about the name, it features all members of Guns N Roses apart from Axl, Ozzy, Iggy, Lemmy, Fergie, Dave Grohl, Adam Levine, Chris Cornell, Ian Astbury and many more famous artists.

From the names you can guess the sound of the songs: absolutely nothing new, this a blast from the past, since Slash has made songs that these artists could have made for their albums (without him), but sometimes you get some fun: i.e. Lemmy's "Doctor Alibi" is old school rock fun.

I like one song: "By The Sword" feat. Andrew Stockdale (of Wolfmother). It's a good song.
