Tracey Thorn's voice is so characteristicaly connected with the romantic/rhythmic music of Everything But The Girl, that it's always takes me a while to adjust to her voice solo. "Love And The Opposite", her 3rd solo album, is toned down, the songs are obviously about break-up's and their aftermath, the music is there to support the words, which scream middle-life. Al Doyle of Hot Chip and Leo Taylor of Invisible have lent a hand.The album will be released this May 17th on her own company, here
